+VG served as Prime Consultant for the adaptive re-use of a two-storey commercial office building, transforming it into Conestoga College’s Milton Campus.

The project involved revitalizing a 21,642 ft² building on a 4.02-acre site, with upgrades including expanded parking and enhanced site lighting. A temporary Portapak classroom building was also introduced to support program needs.

Guided by stakeholder input, the design focuses on creating a dynamic and supportive post-secondary experience—balancing spaces for learning, collaboration, and community. The renovated campus features technologically advanced classrooms, quiet study booths, and flexible collaborative areas that support both individual and group work.

At the heart of the main floor is a bright, multi-purpose student lounge designed for studying, socializing, and events. Additional amenities include food service kiosks, retail space, and student association offices, alongside essential support areas such as IT workspaces and accessible washrooms.

The second floor expands on academic and student life functions, offering classrooms, a library resource space, wellness and prayer rooms, and dedicated staff areas. Together, these elements create a modern, inclusive campus environment that enhances the student experience both inside and outside the classroom.
