Architecture around the rock.
House on Torrance Bay wraps around the site’s contours, using an existing rock face as one side of the entrance walkway.
Principal rooms and bedrooms face the lake, while a landside passage opens to the surrounding landscape. A continuous clerestory brings daylight and cross-ventilation through the house.
