An industrial landmark, reimagined for public life.

The adaptive reuse of Niagara Parks Power Station gives a new public purpose to a historic hydroelectric facility. The generator hall and its original machinery remain at the heart of the visitor experience.

Phase 1 construction, undertaken between 2018 and 2021, introduced visitor amenities while conserving the building’s industrial character. A strategic conservation plan guided decisions about the original equipment and heritage fabric.
